Crooked Creek is IMPAIRED!
As members of a watershed association, we spent one of our "meetings" learning the current condition of "Crooked Creek." The news was NOT GOOD!
Which Land-Use is Doing the Most Damage?
Using a model and simulation, we "experienced" some of the hardships of a watershed.
Time to Research the Issues
Now...to work in groups to put together a presentation for the Watershed Association to consider requested grant funding:

Now It's Time to Prepare for Surveying Our REAL STREAM at AES!
First we watched the experts so we would know what to do when entering our stream here at AES.
LET'S DO THIS! Surveying Atholton's Stream is a GRAND FINALE!
We were able to use the nets to search for macroinvertebrates. It was great to engage in the real thing after a whole year of learning about stream health and the land-uses throughout the watershed that impact it.
